Lewisburg, West Virginia is located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. It is a small town with a population of around 3,837 residents according to the last census in 2018. Despite its size, Lewisburg has plenty of activities to keep visitors entertained. Guests can explore historical sites and architecture, stroll through one of the many galleries or museums that showcase local artwork, go antiquing at one of the antique shops or take in a show at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre. The town also hosts many festivals throughout the year such as the Chocolate Festival which draws tons of people from all over.
The reviews for Lewisburg are overwhelmingly positive. Visitors rave about how quaint and charming this little mountain town is and how friendly and helpful everyone is. People say it's a great place to relax and find peace away from more modernized cities and towns. There are lots of unique restaurants, boutiques, local shops, and galleries full of art that make it worth exploring for days on end!

Cost Of Living Or Cost Of Drama - 1/22/2011
Like most other places the crime is drama and the economy is bad. Your crime is not that bad if you could keep certain police officers off the streets. I know most of them, Kuhn, McClintic, Vance,with Lewisburg Police Department and last but not least Officer Amos with the West Virginia State Police are some of the most decent and highly respected officers in my book. They dont go lookin for people to downgrade to make themselves feel bigger and they dont take the badge to the head. There are some other police officers that are good people as well but the rest of these jokes and poor excuses for pd are there to make you bow to them so the feel like they actually done somthing and the badge goes beyond there head. If you dont own private land and your own home stay gone the economy sucks and landlords are drama. I am movin me and my family so we dont have to live feeling like deadbeats and depressed.
